DigiKind empower communities through digital transformation. We help local authorities, non-profits, startups, BIDs, and businesses to drive footfall back to the high street.

We launched DigiKind as a response to the pandemic and have been tirelessly working to help our fellow businesses go digital, drive footfall to the high street, promote their services using our gift guides and social media channels, breakfast briefings and blogs. We are problem solvers and utilise tech for good to create communities who take ownership of their high streets. Our team is composed of individuals impacted by COVID-19 and we all work together because we are a resilient bunch who love our communities.

For nearly five years, DigiKind’s co-founder Kathy was a sole proprietor, helping BIDs to rejuvenate the high street. However when the pandemic hit, she was approached by a council on a recommendation to provide support on a safe shopping campaign. As lockdowns progressed, Kathy realised that council teams and BID managers around the country were working in silos, yet had similar goals. She and her business partner launched DigiKind to 1) offer consulting services that focused on community building using tech for good tools; and 2) feature and share best practises, news, and innovative businesses and tech, all for free.

DigiKind fulfils a missing piece in the national conversation around reimagining high street rejuvenation by building community using digital transformation tools.

DigiKind is sought out for its expertise and is already growing its team to accommodate requests to provide consulting services. We’ve significantly expanded our training programme, business support services to support a client’s innovation grant programme based upon the success of our training programme provided during the pandemic. To date, we have provided training to over 200 businesses (and counting) and helped local businesses access £800,000 in grant funding.
