Hello I’m Kam Gordon, an artist and designer. Born, bred and still residing in Derby, UK.
After gaining my BA Hons Degree in Textile Design at Derby University I worked for several years as a print designer within the fashion and clothing industry.
The children came along and I took the decision to switch careers and become a full time Mum!
During lockdown 2020 I found drawing and painting a vital escape from the pressures of home-schooling and cooking a thousand meals and snacks each day!
For me, it was invaluable therapy, snatching moments at the dining table, drawing and painting still lifes, portraits of the family and many, many doodles.
The more I drew the more important it became and led to the creation of my online shop, KamsArthouse.
KamsArthouse is still in its infancy and evolving. I am very much looking forward to the journey ahead!
