Artisans

We’re Artisans, a team of creatives & leather artisans. We have a small lab in the heart of East London where we design and make all our products. We develop DIY leather products that fit into people’s everyday lives that can be easily crafted at home without the need for specialist tools or equipment. We host events and workshops to engage more people from all backgrounds in DIY and leather-craft. We work tirelessly to provide people with useful products and resources to promote the benefits of craft, self-development and wellness.

Artisans was created in November 2020 from a small leather workshop in Hackney, supported by our sister brand Nosakhari.

At Artisans and Nosakhari we believe in celebrating difference, craftsmanship and dexterity. Each member of our team brings a unique skillset, we never miss an opportunity to learn from one another. We have a genuine love for craft and the art of making and continually strive for excellence in everything we do. With Artisans we saw the opportunity to continue sharing the experience of making with even more people – our aim is to have 1 billion people crafting by 2030!

Over the past year we have seen substantial growth from the brand. With this we have interacted and inspired many people, from first time crafters, too experienced artisans. The satisfaction of seeing people come together to share the passion of craft is what drives us forward. We have created a platform to celebrate the works and stories of many incredible crafters through our Artisans Stories blogs. We believe in selling a great product that celebrates and showcases crafting for what it really is.
