Start Up Support

Here we have compiled a list of wonderful organisations that provide useful resources, support and programs for those looking to start their own small business.

National Enterprise Network’s Mission is to represent, unite and support all organisations who are passionate about inspiring and encouraging enterprise.

They support their members by:

  • Representing their interests to government and others in the public and private sector, showcasing a unique national network of credible, quality assured enterprise support organisations.

  • Promoting the successes they achieve and demonstrating the value they add to local communities and the wider economy.

  • Connecting them to people and projects inside and outside the Network, to share valuable knowledge, skills and opportunities for even greater success.

Entrepreneurial Spark is a purpose-led accelerator for entrepreneurs. There are enormous challenges for humans to tackle over the next ten years. What we do in that time will determine what our planet looks like for the next hundred years. Climate change, inequality and poor health are things that can make or break our success as a species.

Entrepreneurs are the vital catalyst needed to meet this challenge, and we exist to ensure more of them succeed.

The Small Business Charter was developed by Lord Young, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and the Chartered Association of Business Schools. In addition to providing business schools with a nationally recognisable kitemark award, we also facilitate valuable knowledge sharing networks for business schools and promote the value of the business knowledge, management expertise, and enterprise education offered by our business schools to SME audiences.
