I am a printmaker and artist based in Sussex creating a range of original linocut prints.
Hi, I am Alexandra, the printmaker and artist behind MegaLilyDesign.
I create a range of original linocut prints inspired by the natural world and the mystery of humankind! All of my prints are hand printed in oil based inks onto a range of beautiful printmaking papers. There are tiny open edition prints, limited editions and complex reduction prints, making owning a piece of original art accessible to everyone. I also create a small number of acrylic and watercolour paintings.
Based in Sussex, I work from my home studio and also from my little shop in Cobblestone Walk in Steyning. I worked for many years as a nurse before recently embarking on full time printmaking and painting. Over the years I have completed a number of Fine Art and Printmaking classes and have gone on to develop my own style and processes.
My prints and paintings have been exhibited at the AIMPE 2021 in Japan, The Association of Sussex Artists and at Conclave Gallery in Brighton as well as being shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, I am a member of Steyning Arts and my little shop is a venue on the Steyning Art Trail this May & June.
