Miscellaneous Handmade Gifts for Home and Hound made in Manchester
I’m Helen Rogers and have been a self employed Designer Maker since June 2013 when I set up my online business. In response to people asking me what I created I would answer ‘miscellaneous gifts for home and hound’. Which with a bit of mis-spelling became MisHelenEous.
Inspired by our first dog Whiskey (her birthday was St George’s Day) the National Flag Bandana Collection was born and i’ve been adding various canine related creations for dogs AND their owners ever since. From Bag Charms, Brooches & Bunting, to Bow Ties, Book Marks & Bones – plus many other items not beginning with ‘B’ too!
I graduated with a BA Hons in Painting & Photography in 1995 and then had a brief careeer with Manchester City Council in the Art Education Department at inner city High Schools & Colleges. However sudden, serious long term illness meant a change of direction was needed.
