I am a veterinary surgeon and artist, based in Wiltshire. Having immersed myself in science for many years, I eventually gave in to the need to paint. I find a healthy dose of creativity does wonders for my sanity, and have realised that life is too short to not attempt a foray into the art world. I now divide my time between my two professions.

I live in Bradford on Avon with my husband Giles and our baby daughter Evelyn. When I got married in 2018 I changed my name from Olivia Hicks to Olivia de Rivaz (pronounced DUH-REE-VARZE!), and now paint under this name.
