Rise n Design
I decided to start exploring with resin during lockdown (February 2021) as all my friends at college (while studying art foundation) were talking about starting their own creative business together each doing their own separate things. I had no idea how I would fit into this as I didn’t know what I could do to start a business. In March, I decided to look into resin further, as I had seen it a few years previously at a art gallery in Manchester. When I did some research I decided I wanted to give it a go, it took quite a while to realise where I was going wrong as things weren’t setting but I did some further research and mastered it. I am still learning things as I go along so there are still plenty of highs and lows. At the beginning I started with book marks and I have since then built up to learning larger art pieces and furniture as this is what I really want to do and enjoy most. I hope to supply hotels and luxury homes with large pieces. Every piece is unique as when working with resin no two items can be the same. It doesn’t work like that. You can try and do it the same but it never happens.
