I hand paint bright and cheerful artwork of architecture and iconic places around the world. These are also made into prints and homewares.
After ten years as a school librarian, I made the leap to become a professional artist. I specialise in hand-painting pictures of architecture in a unique, vibrant and uplifting way.
In 2022, I was chosen by Dragons’ Den entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis, as a Small Business Award winner and met the man himself at the annual conference in Birmingham. Also, having been featured as one of the top 10 interiors brand gift brands in a blog by the interiors editor of You magazine and a finalist in the Female Business Network awards, things have been incredibly busy! My art has been printed in Cheshire Life, Cheshire Living, The Covent Gardener and The Mayfarer magazines. My prints will soon be in every room and public space in the Mercure’s Abbots Well Hotel following its refurbishment, where I can sometimes be seen painting in the foyer as Artist in Residence.
I also work with companies to create corporate commissions and/or fundraising pieces. These have included Chester Football Club, The Hospice of the Good Shepherd and Abbey Gate College.
With 5 retailers, including the Chester Visitor Information Centre, and more coming on board, it has been a very successful year. Littler Places art has been sold in New Zealand, Canada, America to date.
