Meet 'Emma Cullen Brand Photography'
‘My passion, my mission and what I truly believe my purpose to be is, to empower women to step into their confidence and be authentically themselves. In relation to how this works within my own brand; I help women in business to step into that confidence in-front of my camera, to show up in their business and to really let their personality shine and connect with their own audience. I truly believe that every individual is their own superpower and that they need to be using this within their business to create connection and bust through that digital screen we all seem to live behind nowadays. It’s more than capturing what someone ‘does for a living’, for me it’s about capturing the Brand’s personality and creating the right space and environment to do just that. Experience is and always will be, a main focus within my business.
I’ll be honest that I wasn’t overly adventurous with my business name, ‘Emma Cullen Brand Photography’. But part of my own Brand is about helping others put themselves at the front of their business in a way that is authentically themselves, so if I didn’t put myself front and centre, then I wouldn’t be practicing what I preach.
I began my business at a real crossroads in my life, I’d worked my way up into what sounded like an ‘exciting career’, however the realisation was anything but and I fell out of alignment with who I was. I was living and working in London, but my family were back in Suffolk and after a brief chance encounter with Photography again, I fell in love. Which gave me the drive, the inspiration and purpose to go and craft a new career and return to my family. Growing up I was always the one with a camera in my hand, documenting every moment and seeing the world from a different perspective. I’ve also always been a people person, so transitioning into directing individuals and creating an environment that suits and makes them feel comfortable, it was already second nature to me.
My inspirations are drawn from the strong women that I’m surrounded by in my personal life, the beauty of the East of England and of course the incredible women in business that I get to work with on a daily basis, through every client I learn something new and I know now, that I will be forever evolving.
I’ve also begun to weave other support avenues into my business for small business owners, to which I’m the proud Creator of ‘My Content Bible’; the Social Media Planner for Small Business Owners. I created this product for no other initial purpose than the fact that I needed it in my business. It’s a product that I’m incredibly proud of and after just one year, it already has it’s own following and I look forward to my yearly Autumn launch!
When I found Brand Photography I felt like I’d found a piece of me and now I feel like I’m not just living my Brand Mission, but that’s it become my Personal Mission as well.
