The Story Behind Bagsie That 1

Old school friends re-met at a quiz night in 2017. We’d wanted to be in charge of our own destinies and so started our pop up handbag shop. We followed the Book Peoples business model of going into large corporates and giving the host company the option of us donating a percentage of our takings to their chosen charity. Good social responsibility for all concerned. We have grown quickly from 1 event per week to 4/5 per week. The rest is history!

My picks

I was very generously sent this absolutely gorgeous faux leather bag. Oh em gee. When it arrived I couldn’t believe it. I had the choice of two colours and went for the pink, although it was so difficult to choose. When it arrived I fell in love. All my handbags are black or brown and I think this is such a summery colour too! I absolutely love the inside as it has a removable brown pouch which is perfect for keeping your valuables locked away, then it has a really cute gold twist and slot in lock on the front. Essentially, this bag has it all!

I was also sent a bag organiser which I think is a brill idea! I don’t know about you but my bag has so much stuff in it whenever I go to empty it I’ve got an entire house in there! Which is where this comes in handy as you can keep all your small items in it, then when you switch your bags there’s no faffing about!

The Little Touches

• My bag was packaged really well in a protective bag (which is also great to re-use… I’m a lover of recycling and re-using!)
• Delivery was super quick and arrived within 48 hours… I was very impressed!
• You can purchase personalised gift vouchers to treat someone and they can choose whatever they’d like!

Coming Soon

Bagsie That 1 will soon be launching a branded range by David Jones (Paris) who make some gorgeous bags. This is fantastic for them as it’s a big step in the right direction for any small business. Can’t wait to see them!
