As the night’s draw in, picture a cosy evening with candles, browsing some gift guides and sipping on a G&T. That scenario would be ever better if you got your delivered to your door every month right? Queue ILoveGin.
Get yourself a whole box of G&T’s delivered straight to your door, ready to pour straight into your favourite gin glass.
I know you’re probably thinking hmmmm, what do I actually get in one of these genius boxes. Well, if you haven’t read my other posts before (eg. this one) here is the lowdown on what I got this month:
- A miniature Colonsay Gin (50ml)
- A miniature Colonsay Liquer (50ml)
- A Poachers tonic (classic)
- A Franklin & Sons tonic (elderflower and cucumber)
The bit I like is the tasting booklet because I get to read a bit about the gins and tonics and swot up a little. Then I love seeing what pairings have been suggested and how to serve them to get the most out of the flavours.
I tend to just pour small G&T’s to make them go further and so that I can try different garnishes, depending on what I have in the house. Top tip: always have a lemon and orange handy as they are often used to create the perfect serve.
Being an ILoveGin member also gives you some awesome great perks (I mean, if it can get any better having G&T’s delivered to your door?!) which include the chance to win a free bottle of full sized gin a month, free gifts after you’ve been a member for 3, 6 and 9 months and money off full sized bottles of gin!
As an eco-friendly side note, I’ve started to reuse the empty tonic bottles around the house. With that, this little vase idea was born!
I’d love to hear what upcycling ideas you have for your bottles though – drop me a comment below and let’s share some inspiration!
If you want to sign up to ILoveGin, what better time than the run up to Christmas. Or make it a gin-tastic gift for a gin lover – jus’ sayin’!
