Blue Coffee Box is all about ethically sourced speciality coffee, delivered straight to your door. Nothing more, nothing less.
In 5 simple steps you can have this wonderful coffee subscription service set up, and a cup of coffee on your table. Well, almost.
- Decide whether it’s for you or a gift for someone else (how awesome if this for coffee lovers!?)
- Choose how you want your coffee prepared. I went for cafetiere, but you can have beans, dripper, aeropress or espresso.
- Select from light, medium or dark roast coffee. Or, have a surprise (I like this idea!)
- Choose how often you’d like your deliveries – every 2 weeks, monthly or every 2 months. The choice is yours.
- Then you agree your payment plan and you’re ready to go!
What I love most about the amazing Blue Coffee Box is the fantastic way they let you curate your own box. Personalised in every way possible, to allow you to enjoy the experience the best way possible. Something you don’t often get free reign to do these days.
When my beautifully packaged box arrived, I could already smell the gorgeous coffee from the re-sealable pouches. Heaven. Not only is the whole box packaged so well, but the design of each pouch has really been thought through, and the simplistic design is something worth showing off on your shelf. Also provided is a really interesting card about where each of the coffees have been produced, the tasting notes and information about the area the coffee is produced in.
I swiftly took the pouches to work, in prep for my morning coffee and quickly the interest came flooding in. So many people were intrigued as to what coffee I was using and where I got it from, people even wanted to try some in their own cafetieres! Well, that’s one way of spreading the word about this fabulous small business.
My favourite from the three pouches I received is the Bosque Lya. I enjoy strong coffee so I’ve been using quite a bit in my cafetiere than perhaps most people do. The flavour and tasting notes are really pronounced in this one and it made a perfect cup of coffee for me! It’s also very reassuring that all the coffees are ethically sourced directly from farmers and local co-operatives. so the farmers can better support their families this way.

Interesting idea! I haven’t tried this before but I like the concept (and I love coffee, of course). It would make a good gift too. Do they do any flavoured coffees? I think this would work well as a gift if you were to send exciting flavoured coffees to your friends!
