Bath’s are a great way to relax and unwind and I’ve started having them more often lately! Here’s my steps to creating a perfect bath time.
Bath ‘Stuff’
You can’t really have a bath without some nice smellies. I recently tried this lush bath bomb and it was lovely. Not only did the water turn pink, the colour of the bath bomb, but I loved the natural petals that floated in the water.
Shampoo wise I love my trusty Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and generally any of the L’Occitane natural shampoo that they do. I had a mini sized bottle of the Citrus Verbena shampoo for camping last summer and it was perfect!
I still love to use my Elemis Shower Gel that I featured in this post. I do use others but when I have a bath I like to indulge myself a bit and use some of my better quality products.
Something to Listen To
Obviously you might just like to sit in peace and quiet, or like me, listen to a Chilled Spotify playlist or Podcast. If you are a Podcast lover then I did this post a little while back with my Top 5 in, so hopefully there will be something that takes your fancy there.
Drinks and Snacks
Always an essential. Grab a cold glass of wine or a herbal tea and sip away surrounded by bubbles and bath smells. Snack-wise you could have some chocolate (no ones going to say no to that are they?!) or if you’re trying to be a bit healthier you could make your veryown fruit platter.
Candles, candles and more candles
You can never have too many candles on the go, they help to create the perfect mood. The fragrances can help you feel relaxed too and if you dim the lights, the flicker off the candle can be very soothing. My Mum bought me this super cute mini one which smells of vanilla bean, so nice.
Something to read…
I love reading blog posts on my iPad in the bath or if I have one at the weekend I try and keep up with my Weekend #SmallBiz Twitter Thread (takes place every weekend!). You could also read your favorite book or magazine too.
So there you go – run your bath and make sure you do some of these! What do you do to create your perfect bath time?
*This is a sponsored post with L’Occitane, however as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own*

Love this post Rebecca! 💖 Baths are one of my favourite ways to relax and unwind. I love adding all the bubbles, lighting a few candles and playing my fave music, listening to a podcast or watching YouTube. I agree – you can’t say no to a cuppa and a bit of chocolate either, such luxury! 😍 Great post, as always! 😘 xx

I love bath time too, although I don’t very often have them (showers are quicker and easier when Flora’s about, haha). And I love L’Occitane products, they are so luxurious. My husband uses their Verbena products too, they have such a fresh and natural fragrance. I’d say yes to candles and a glass of bubbly but you’re braver than me to take your iPad in the bath, I’d be too scared of dropping it! Lovely suggestions, thank you for sharing xx

Totally agree, 90% of the time I have showers and just have baths when I have some time! Me too, I once got this mini set of about 7 products which was so handy as I got to try so many! I’m sure one day I will drop my iPad haha! xx
