The Story Behind The Lazy Lemon
I have always had a passion for creating – whether it be a drawing, a painting or journaling. During my geography degree I decided to do something with this passion, make products that I love and I hope other people love, so I created The Lazy Lemon!
All my designs are hand drawn or painted before digitised and turned into a product – whether it be a print, a card or more recently, a pin! I’m particularly into using quotes in my work at the moment, I feel I can connect more with a print if it has a meaning behind it!
Tour Round the Store
The Lazy Lemon Etsy Shop, owned by the wonderful Holly, has so many amazing items in, it’s clear from the off how passionate Holly is about her designs and what she sells. The newest items to join her Shop are these very cute enamel pins – a Lemon Pin and a Tea Lover Pin. I’m seeing so many more pins about these days and I think these are just the bees knees!
You can also find a great range of cactus cards which are very fun, really high quality and the glossy effect on it adds to this. Then there’s a lovely range of A5 and A4 prints. I absolutely adore these. Great for creating a picture wall and popping in a lovely frame. Prints are really back in now and these are such good value starting at only £3.50! You could even make a DIY print board using some nice string and clips/wooden pegs and hanging the prints from this.
My Picks
There’s so much choice from an amazing range of products! Holly did very kindly send me a selection of items to review (and also for the Giveaway below) so I got a great first hand look at these. I’m really impressed with the quality of everything and the thought that’s gone into the designs. It’s amazing to think that these are hand drawn and so much time and effort has gone into each one, including the colours that are used.
There’s definitely something for everyone; whether you’re looking to glam up your study area or give a stylish gift to someone, it’s all covered in the Lazy Lemon’s Etsy Shop! Most importantly everything is affordable and great value so if you’re on a budget then there’s still something for you!
The Little Touches
- Everything that Holly sent to me was really well packaged within a cardboard envelope and then sealed with one of The Lazy Lemon’s very own logo stickers. Such a nice personalised touch. The packaging is simple and perfect for the type of items being posted.
- Also inside was such a cool business card, I love the design and I love business cards so I was definitely won over. Double sided with The Lazy Lemon’s links and then on the back the famous lemon design.. How fab!
