AD* | Everyone loves a glass of the old vino right?! Whether it’s red with your steak, or white with your fish. For me it’s all about finding a firm favourite and keeping a note for next time.
Sam and I love trying different red wines with our meals, but when it comes to white, a cold, crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc is the one for me at the moment! There is something about the flavour of it that just makes me feel so summery. And it’s even better sitting in the garden with a glass and some nibbles too, particularly on a summer’s afternoon with 5pm sun!
It’s so easy when you’re doing your supermarket shop to go for your usual, but have you tried an online wine shop?
I spotted this beautiful bottle of Fantasia Sauvignon Blanc over on Independent Wine, a business that does exactly what it says on the tin. Sourcing boutique wine makers, without the pesky middle man, so that you can get exceptionally high quality wine delivered to your door!
This Sauvignon Blanc is produced by Mauricio Lorca at his winery in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, about 30 minutes away from the city of Mendoza.
I love how the wine is produced with minimal impact on the environment and that the grapes used have so many natural qualities. Not only does it pair well with fish and seafood, but I’m pleased to see it is a dream with goat’s cheese too! This is exactly why a glass of this beautiful wine is simple perfect for those sunny afternoon’s and evening’s!
So, if trying independent wines is right up your street, please do take a look at Independent Wine where you can even find a bottle for under £10!
