Background

Hi, I’m Nerea Safari, the founder of Youth Tree Organics, a small, ethical business based in London, UK. Youth Tree Organics was an idea I had for around 2 years until I decided to launch it 6 months ago in September 2021. I create self-care Pamper boxes filled with my own handmade, organic skincare products & carefully selected Fairtrade treats!

How it began

The inspiration came after having very little time to myself due to juggling full-time work with motherhood, then being a full-time mum of two! I wanted to create something special for women with busy lives who were not setting aside time to relax or look after themselves. That’s when I decided I was going to create a Pamper box! Since launching in September, creating my pamper boxes has grown from a hobby & passion into an exciting small business that has allowed me to develop my creative side, learn new skills and do something I love whilst allowing me to perfectly balance my work & family life!

What inspires me

I get inspired by many different things, it could be discovering a new ingredient that I’d like to use in my products, noticing other new & innovative products on the market & how useful they are, or hearing about how other business entrepreneurs have started & grown their own businesses. In December last year only 3 months after launching, Youth Tree Organics was picked by Theo Paphitis for a Small Business Sunday Award which was fantastic! Now having won the Biz Bubble ‘New Biz on the Block Award 2022’ it’s amazing and I’m so pleased to get this kind of recognition!

My aim/values

I wanted my pamper boxes to be ethical, so all ingredients are sourced from companies that have the same ethos as mine (eco-friendly, premium quality, sustainable & organic). I only use packaging made from recycled cardboard for my boxes and my labels are made from recycled paper. Another thing that was important to me was for my boxes to contain Fairtrade or organic treats and be affordable, so I have created different boxes to suit every budget and there are also vegan friendly options available.

Unique selling point

All skincare products in the pamper boxes are handmade by me & incorporate the values I want for my brand. I really enjoy creating each new box! It’s especially nice to get an order for a personalised box with thoughtful message because I know someone is going to open the pamper box and see a lovely message and absolutely love their gift knowing it has been handmade specifically for them! I have also added a Masculine pamper box which I didn’t think would be as popular at first, but I think you guys definity love a bit a pampering too!
